Greeting my fellow denizens of the internet, and on behalf of the Con Amore Cast and Developer team I bid you a warm and hearty welcome.

We have been working hard in the background for a while now to develop a body of material from which we as a team can further develop and create a beautiful world in which to weave our story, and finally feel ready to begin sharing it with all of you.

Why are We Here?

As clichéd as this seems to be now, an awful lot of us, especially the writing team, were inspired by the popular VN game Katawa Shoujo from 4 Leaf Studios. Released earlier this year, KS has spawned a lot of amateur studios hoping to ride on their coat tails in some cases, and in other just a chance meeting of like-minded individuals who feel that they too have a story to share with you.

After writing some fan-fiction I found myself seeking out projects looking for writers, and found a position within the CA team quite quickly, and have been raising merry hell ever since. I am now an arc writer, and the current web-master for the studio.

For me personally, I didn’t even know what a VN was before I happened across a Kotaku review of KS which piqued my interest. 8 months down the track now and here I am, sat on a mountain of writing, and yet still only really getting started with what I hope will be an endearing, memorable tale that will infect you with “dem feels” and urge you to share it with your friends and loved one.

Together we want to share Con Amore with you, which means slightly different things to each of us, but we all want to show you a contemporary story of love, life and music; and perhaps show you through our eyes and the protagonists, just what these thing mean to us too.

What is Con Amore?

Con Amore ( CA ) is going to be a Romantic Visual Novel set in the delightful township of Florence, Italy. Our characters will be attending the fictional Accademia Internazionale di Musica ( the AIM ), a prestigious musical University, with students from all around the world, a melting pot of exceptional musical students.

We hope the diverse cast and wonderful setting will help draw you in and keep playing through as you discover more about the characters and their culture, and maybe even a little about the music which is their common passion.
